Android Android Lists and Adapters (2015) Lists with RecyclerViews Creating a RecyclerView ViewHolder

challenge 3 of 3

Finally, add a constructor for GameViewHolder that takes a View as its one parameter. Set mTitleLabel using the ID R.id.titleLabel.

GameAdapter.java
public class GameAdapter extends RecyclerView.Adapter<GameAdapter.GameViewHolder> {

    private Game[] mGames;

    public GameAdapter(Game[] games) {
        mGames = games;
    }

    @Override
    public GameViewHolder onCreateViewHolder(ViewGroup parent, int viewType) {
        return null;
    }

    @Override
    public void onBindViewHolder(GameViewHolder holder, int position) {
        // code omitted for brevity
    }

    @Override
    public int getItemCount() {
        return 0;
    }

    public class GameViewHolder extends RecyclerView.ViewHolder {
      public TextView mTitleLabel;
     public GameViewHolder(View) {
         mTitleLabel = View.findViewById(R.id.titleLabel);
        }
    }
}

You have this:

 public GameViewHolder(View) {
         mTitleLabel = View.findViewById(R.id.titleLabel);
        }

It has to be:

 public GameViewHolder(View view) {
         mTitleLabel = view.findViewById(R.id.titleLabel);
        }

You forgot to declare the variable of the View class

Hey Louis, it worked buddy, thanks i was kinda confused
