The challenge for Using ArrayLists keeps asking "Did you forget to add the getExternalLinks method? No, I wrote the method. I don't know why it can't see it.

public class BlogPost implements Comparable<BlogPost>, Serializable { private String mAuthor; private String mTitle; private String mBody; private String mCategory; private Date mCreationDate;

it expects a public method with a particular signature.

  public List<String> getExternalLinks() {
    String prefix = "http";
    List<String> results = new ArrayList<String>();
    for(String word : getWords()) {
      if(word.startsWith(prefix)) {
        results.add(word);
      }
    }
    return results;
  }

Problem has been solved. I wrote the private method, but gave it the name of the public method getExternalLinks which I didn't write. Added the public method getExternalLinks, changed the name of the private method to getWordsPrefixedWith and modified the getWords() method. It seems you need the right method name on the right method to get it to work.

Thanks for the help.
