Challenge asks for an empty second parameter, but I keep getting a Bummer: You didn't use an addEventListener error msg!

I've tried everything to provide an "empty" second argument on this challenge. What am I doing wrong?

app.js
const warning = document.getElementById("warning");
let button = document.querySelector('button');
button.addEventListener = ('click', ( ) => {
  console.log();
});
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <title>Adding an Event Listener</title>
    </head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" />
    <body>
        <div id="warning">
            Warning: My background should be red!
        </div>
        <button id="makeItRed">Make It Red!</button>
        <script src="app.js"></script>
    </body>
</html>

Hey Paul! You don't need an equal sign between addEventListener and the parenthesis. I hope it will help you keep up the good work buddy.

button.addEventListener = ('click', ( ) => {

I would double check the syntax for adding an event listener. Good luck!
