Challenge Task 1 of 2

The search function below returns a name if it is found in the array and an empty string if it is not found. Modify the search function to return an optional instead of just a String. In addition, you have to make sure the function returns a nil if the name is not found in the array.

search.swift
func search(#name: String) -> String {
    let names = ["Doc","Grumpy","Happy","Sleepy","Bashful","Sneezy","Dopey"]
    for n in names {
        if n == name {
            return n
        }
    }
    return ""

}

Hello Abdullah.

To return an optional, simply add a ? sign to what your function is going to return. (For now the code says it return a String, make that optional.

The other small task that this part of the code challenge wants you to do is related to what the function returns in case the name is not found in the names array. I ask you one thing: what is the function returning now in the case where the name is not found? You will need to change that into a nil value!

Let me know if this makes sense to you or if you need some more hints. ;)
