i really don't know where to begin on this one. can someone please give me a clue?

Well, you'll want to change the value of the variable line based on a condition, so you need an if-statement.

If the code in the if-block doesn't run (if the expression evaluates to false), you'll want to change the variable's value to something else. You can achieve that using an else-statement.

(There's a way to solve this without using an else-block though.)
