The system tells me that red is supposed to be mauve and mauve is supposed to be red

favorite_color = input('what is your favorite color?')
favorite_color = 'Red'
print('The color', favorite_color, 'is a great color!')

Everything is good, it's just that you're first assigning favorite_color to their input (Mauve) and then assigning it to Red, then the system checks for mauve and because its set as red it comes up as an error. Just make sure to remove favorite_color = 'Red'
