Python Python Basics (2015) Python Data Types String Formatting

challenge task 2 of 2

OK, now use .format() on the string "Treehouse loves {}" to put your name into the placeholder. Assign this to the variable subject (so start with subject =).

strings.py
name = "charles"
fomat(Treehouse loves {name}")
subject = ).

First, you didn't put quotation marks on both sides of your string. Second, you didn't use the .format() method. Third, when it says "(so start with subject =)" it is saying "start your code with: subject = 'your name goes here'". Hope this helps, Nakal

The .format() method goes at the end of your string. ;)
