Challenge Task 3 of 3 Use the concatenation operator + to append “ rocks!” to the end of the contents of the firstName variable and print it to the screen using Console.WriteLine
I can not figure out what is wrong here.
I added a plus sign to append rocks;
here is the error:
StudentsCode.cs(8,0): error CS1525: Unexpected symbol firstName', expecting
,', ;', or
='
Compilation failed: 1 error(s), 0 warnings
string firstName
firstName = "User";
Console.ReadLine();
Console.Write("You've entered ");
Console.Write(firstName);
Console.WriteLine(" rocks!");
Console.WriteLine("You've entered " + firstName + " rocks!");

17,042 Pointsyour confused. the correct code is: string firstName = Console.WriteLine(); Console.WriteLine(firstName + “ rocks!”);
first u declare a variable named firstname which read user input and then u print it to the console.
