1,108 Pointschanges I make to Atom aren't updating when I refresh. how can i make atom the main editor instead of workspace?
i opened the project in Atom and started editing but it is still only updating when I make changes in workspace.
I tried closing workspace but Atom still was not making changes to the website. what do i have to do to make changes on Atom?

12,478 Pointsin Atom, looking at your html file, click save as. Once saved anywhere of your choosing, go to the file explorer (if on windows just click start and type "file explorer") and find the html file that you just saved. Right click it, and choose open with... (then select the browser of your choice, i.e. google chrome).
good luck and keep at it! it is confusing at first to understand what exactly is going on, you'll pick it up along the way, for now just keep on learning HTML :)

231,268 PointsIt sounds like what you are calling "the website" is the built-in server in the workspace, and you probably only closed the browser tab for the server side of the workspace. You should also close the browser tab that is the preview for the workspace.
Then, open a new preview using Atom, which will then update when you make changes in the editor.
