The best way is to talk to friends and family members to see if they need anything. Also, you can try bidding for work on freelancing websites. I've also found that just mentioning that you're a freelance web designer at bars, etc, almost always gets people interested. After that, the follow up and pitch is the important part! Finding people in need of a website is easy, don't be afraid to strike up conversation wherever you go and network your tail off!

To get some clients you actually need to identify key concepts in content strategy, and content analytics. Content analytics is a practice that's been going on for some while now this decade and it's starting to gain favor into the public. A true freelancer has a freelancing business model, and a pattern to go through the day. They create the business ecosystem into a promising integrity and holist business environment. You could try developing your insight intelligence because you need to create an advanced analytics strategy. Hope this helps. Also you could try praying for getting new clients everyday!
