Code Challange

I have re watched all the videos in this section but cant seem to come up with the answer. Looking for some help but also looking to understand why, if possible.

Thanks in advance.

//Show Prompt Window and store value
var fullName = prompt("What is your full name?");

//Select Input with the id of #fullName

//Insert value in to full name input

Hello Josh.

The answer is to use the Jquery method of selecting an element in the DOM:

$("#fullName")

Then in order to put the value of fullName into that element, add the val method along with the variable:

$("#fullName").val(fullName);

That should solve the code challenge.

I over thought it. I didnt even think of it as just selecting that particular input with the id of fullName. This ahd me going for days. lol Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it.
