Code Challenge Del: Correct code is entered but error occurs

The code is provided below. I have entered the correct code - to my knowledge to continue through the challenge but for some odd reason it gives me an oops error message stating that task 1 is not passing. the code again is absolutely correct- would anyone be able to help me solve why this would be?

current_count = 14 planned = 5 upcoming_releases = 2 del planned total = current_count + upcomming_releases

Hi Christopher,

When you assign the sum of upcoming_releases and current_count to the variable, totals, you accidentally put two m 's in upcomming_releases. That appears to be the only issue!

Happy coding :)

Okay def did not see that but I will def try that now - Thanks so much for your help AJ

you were correct AJ - Im so ashamed lol

Haha, noo, don't be ashamed, it happens to all of us. If you're gonna make a mistake, I think it's almost better to make one like a typo or a minor syntax error, rather than a mistake rooted in confusion about the concept as a whole. It might be more frustrating at first, but you grasped the lesson, which is, to me, the most important takeaway. Glad I could help, Christopher!
