can someone carry me through this Quiz question.

Finish the code in this loop's condition, so that 'I love JavaScript' is printed to the console 10 times:

var x = 0;
do {
  console.log('I love JavaScript');
  x += 1; 
} while ( x <= -----)

In order to print to the console 10 times, x must be <= 9 as the counter starts at 0.

Could you explain this more to me please? I still don't understand why it shouldn't be 10.
