Here’s a tool that has been helping me and potentially may help you too. If you haven’t already been using the sublime text software to follow along (when applicable)- it can be quite useful. Not only do you have the opportunity to practice in an environment filled with features such as auto-complete and a vast array of shortcuts to enrich your experience… but you can utilize those features to compare your code with the code projects files side by side. This more easily allows me to focus on following along with the videos, attempting to proceed the actual coding at my own pace- knowing that if I get too stuck I can simply compare code, determine where the errors are, and learn from my mistakes.
To do so in sublime text you simply select “view”, then the “layout” option, and finally choose “columns: 2”. The screen will split and you will now be able to have separate documents open on either side, allowing you to review the project files and compare them to the code you’ve generated.
Hope it helps and I’m always looking for other helpful methods to improve my learning if you have any you would like to share.

39,199 PointsIn notepad++ there's a compare plugin that will highlight differences between 2 files for you.

Treehouse Moderator 91,254 PointsI guess so, I'll have to look into that! If it can recognise the CSS and HTML element it should make it easier for me to follow the videos, thanks, :)
