Code is EXACT to Craig's but it wont work

Hi there,

I am having trouble with the code that Craig wrote in this video. The thing that really befuddles me, is that once I completed the code for this video, I checked, double checked, and triple checked all of the cod from top to bottom, but I get an error that says -bash Java command not found. Anything will help. Quite stumped! Here is my code:

import java.io.Console;

public class TreeStory {

public static void main(String[] args) {
    Console console = System.console();
    /*  Some terms:
        noun - Person, place or thing
        verb - An action
        adjective - A description used to modify or describe a noun
        Enter your amazing code here!
    */
 // __Name__ is a __adjective__ __noun__. They are always __adverb__ __verb__
  String name = console.readLine("Enter a name:  ");
  String adjective = console.readLine("Enter an adjective:  ");
  String noun = console.readLine("Enter a noun:  ");
  String adverb = console.readLine("Enter an adverb:  ");
  String verb = console.readLine("Enter a verb ending with -ing:  ");

  console.printf("Your TreeStory:\n-----\n");
  console.printf("%s is a %s %s.  ", name, adjective, noun);
  console.printf("They are always %s %s. \n", adverb, verb);
}

}

Here is the Error: -bash: Java: command not found

Gabriel,

Yep, your code is perfect!

The issue is with using the java command. Notice that the J is capitalized in the error:

-bash: Java: command not found

By using the lower case java it should work.

Please let me know if this resolves your issue.

Regards,

Chris

Christopher,

Thank you so much. This resolved the problem perfectly!
