I am vacationing the week after the 4th and would love to continue working on a HTML and CSS website I am currently building. I might even want to practice some Rails. The only problem is that I might not have access to internet.
Is there a way to code and view my results offline? If so, what are the best, universally preferable methods?
Thanks!

3,672 PointsI'm not sure about rails, but HTML pages, as long as they aren't hosted online, should be viewable without an internet connection. If all the files are local on your PC, they should work just fine.

7,605 Pointsusing Chrome or whatever browser you like, you can access whatever html files are on your hard drive, and if you have linked them to css files held within the same folder or folder directory, you will be able to see their styling, too. Similarly if you've written in any fonts or script that don't require pulling information from the net, this ought to be visible also.
if you enter
file:///C:/
into the address bar, for example, you will see the index of your C:/ drive. From there you will be able to navigate to the folder destination of your choice.
