Compile files in command line

Hello,

I am trying to compile file in windows command line, but command "msc" is not recognized as an internal or external command.

Can you please help me, how to compile via command line or by Visual Studio ?

Thanks for responses.

Your default window probably doesn't have the VS tools in the execution path, and the online documentation says that the command to compile is "cl".

Here's a link to a Walkthrough: Compiling a Native C++ Program on the Command Line, which explains how to open a special command window and takes you through the process step-by-step.
