4,025 PointsCompleted my first track
Hi,
I'm pretty close to finishing my first track on Treehouse and it's been great.
My goal is to eventually be able to create a website from start to finish, and more than anything, be confident in my abilities. That said, my question is what track would be best to learn next? I want to hopefully complete the Front-end, Ruby, PHP, and Wordpress tracks. However, I'm not sure in what order would be recommended.
Thank you!

There's an awful lot of overlap with the same courses within those tracks. But if it was me I think I would do Front-end, Wordpress, PHP then Ruby. That sort of feels the right order in going from design/front end towards deeper programming concepts.

4,025 PointsThanks for the advice Andrew, I think that's the track progression I'll be using.
If you have a second, I have another quick question: I'd say that I have a good understanding of HTML/CSS however, I'm not as comfortable as I would like to be. Will I gain this confidence as I continue through front-end development and other tracks or should I be reviewing the previous videos in order to make myself more confident?

37,259 PointsI think I'm going to cover both bases here by saying that
you should just continue to practice those skills in your own projects, just like any skill it's about continuous practice. Going through the extra credit suggestions in the courses is a good way to start.
the tracks you're going to follow build upon and reinforce those skills to a large extent, so while you will be learning totally new things and languages it will also be referencing HTML and CSS a lot and this constant reinforcement will just naturally help you become more comfortable with them.
Well not really a 3. but the above two points aren't one or the other but something you should be doing together, set up a project that makes use of all/most of them. In almost every case HTML and CSS is a foundation anyway and you'll be delving into those frequently.

Treehouse Moderator 91,254 PointsThe next course I'm going to to is the Front End Framework. In it is the CSS Foundations course which I'll be taking advantage of again to see if it reinforces what I've learned from the course. It's great that's there's overlap in the tracks but at the same time I'd love more original content too. :-)
