6,116 PointsCompleted Swift Track. Do I have to start with Objective-C basics or should I jump straight in to an app course?
Would like to do the self-destructing message app course. How different is Swift to Objective-C?

10,101 PointsHi Daniel,
If you want to just learn swift, then I think you should be fine just jumping straight into the app courses. I have also done some of the Objective C apps courses but instead of building the app in Objective C, I have build it in Swift. Somethings are a bit tricky to figure out but nothing you won't be able to solve from the documentation, Googling and asking for help in the forum.
Hope that helps. Also one tip... try searching on Github for people that did the app already in Swift if you need more help.
