Databases Reporting with SQL Working with Text Concatenating Text

Concatenation

From a partners table, I'm tying to concatenate first_name, last_name and email (with spaces in between) and Alias it as "to_field". I tried SELECT first_name || " " || last_name || " " || email AS to_field FROM partners; and it said to put angle brackets around email. So I tried SELECT first_name || " " || last_name || " " || <email> AS to_field FROM partners; and then got the generic 'something is wrong with your code.
What am I doing wrong?

Some hints:

  • Try concatenating the brackets around email
  • The table name is patrons

Thanks Kris that worked!
