is there something I am doing wrong

app.js
let firstName= "Yushae";
let lastName="DeSilva-Andrade";
let role = 'developer';
const msg= firstName + " "+ lastName + ": " + role + ".";

Hey Yushae DeSilva-Andrade,

Your code is perfect, just remove the + assignment operator and period from msg variable.

Here's the final code:

let firstName = "Yushae";
let lastName = "DeSilva-Andrade";
let role = "developer";
const msg = firstName + " "+ lastName + ": " + role;

Hope this helps!
