conditional statement in JavaScript

workspace is telling me that the code i've written in the script.js is not correct.

can someone please tell me what is wrong?

You don't need to put the p tags on the alert message, remove all of 'em and your code should pass.

var a = 10;
var b = 20;
var c = 30;

if ( a > b) {
  alert("a is greater than b");
} else {
  alert("a is not greater than b");
}
