There seems to be a syntax error in my program but i can't figure out where the error is coming from

b=2;

function max(a,b){

  return 2;
  }

}

Here's a few hints:

  • the conditional expression must be inside the parentheses following the "if"
  • the conditional must be done inside the function and before the return;
  • the value being returned should be one of the arguments that was passed in
  • if the conditional fails the other argument should be returned

Thanks Steven

Mathew Yangang — You've marked the question as solved, but normally you would choose the answer that contained the information that helped the most as the "best answer". Choosing one that contains no information might be confusing to other readers.
