by modifying the tuple to String, String, and returning both greeting and language I thought this would work
func greeting(person: String) -> (String, String) {
let language = "English"
let greeting = "Hello \(person)"
return greeting, language
}

You're missing the parenthesis in the return statement.
func greeting(person: String) -> (String, String) {
let language = "English"
let greeting = "Hello \(person)"
return (greeting, language)
}
Goodluck!
