I've tried literally 5 different ways of doing this, NONE work. Someone explain what one earth I could possibly be doing wrong. There is always more than one way to do something, I know.

171 PointsYou don't need that comma in there, also you don't need the strange escaping syntax as the variables are already type string.
So just firstName + " " + lastName
