Confused about constructors and object literals.

When should we use constructors and when should we use object literals?

What are the benefits, in simple terms, of using either?

Constructors are typically used any time you expect to create a number of instances of a certain class.

Object literals are useful for creating a single instance of an anonymous object, or for passing arguments to functions that expect an object parameter.
