17,984 PointsConstructing a Python/Data Science Mega Track
Hey All,
I am looking at doing a deep dive into python and data science over the next year and plan to work on the Beginning Python, Intermediate Python, Exploring Flask, Beginning Data Science and Beginning SQL tracks. Looking at the classes involved, there is a good amount of overlap and so I was wondering if anyone could suggest a 'recommended reading order'?
So far I've technically been following the Data Science Track which mirrors Beginning Python and I am currently trudging along in OOP. Instead of diving into SQL after this course though, I was considering wrapping up the Beginning Python track and completing the 'writing better python' and 'dates and times'.
From there however, I am not sure if I should continue with the Data Science track or continue into Intermediate Python while the material from Beginning is still fresh in my mind. I also completed about 7 of the 10 hours of the SQL track about a year and a half ago but I'll be starting that over from scratch.
Finally does anyone know if the python courses are actively being refreshed? I noticed the instructors and python version jumps around a bit from course to course
Thanks!!
