4,270 PointsContent Assist Not Available at the current location
I'm using Eclipse Luna (old machine won't run Android Studio). As far as I can see the method to trigger Content Assist is the same as Android Studio:Ctrl+space after the dot.
I've also been into the Content Assist Editor and selected all proposals except word docs.
I'm getting the message above.

I actually gave up and managed to install Android Studio. Thanks for the tips though, I will use them.

Google says that they will "support" Eclipse, but the future will definitely be Android Studio. They are able to add a lot more features a lot easier there.

4,270 PointsMy apologies. If there is anything I can do to vote up Danial's comment as Best Answer I'm happy to do so. Sorry, I've been travelling over the break with very patchy wifi. Thanks again Danial.

14,780 PointsHey Edith!
Sorry if I confused you there. It's actually Danial who will need to convert his comment to an answer - you can't mark comments as a Best Answer unfortunately. If he moves his comment to an answer I'll be sure to mark it as the Best Answer so that he can be credited with the points :)

13,247 PointsWhat code do you have? Also, if you have an error before the code, you may have to fix that first. And, from experience, since Eclipse is so buggy, getting into the habit of "Clean"ing the code is good too and will fix a lot of problems.
