continents list

how do l print continents that begin with "A"? how does the index function apply in this area?

continents.py
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
print("continents")
for continent in continents:
        print ("* " + continent)

The hint states: Remember that you can access characters in a string by index

The syntax uses an index in square brackets after the string. In this case continent[0] will be the first character, since indexing starts at zero. So in your loop you can compare the first character of each continent to "A" and if true then print the bulleted continent name.
