Copyright status change

What if the item you choose (image) is okay to use when you create your project but becomes protected under copyright laws after you've finished it?

1 Answer

You should contact the copyright owner and ask for the permission to use his/hers image. It's possible that they will ask a payment for the use of their work.

Or you can change the image. You can use unsplash for example, this is a website with free stock photos, you can use them in your project.

Great thanks for your reply. Sorry I wasn't entirely clear in my initial question. How will I know if I've violated a copyright law if it changes once I've completed my project? Is it my responsibility to regularly check the status of the item or will I get a warning from the owner to remove it or pay for the use of the rights?
