Correct syntax,variable,and method names but error compiling?

// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. String firstExample = "hello"; String secondExample = "hello"; String thirdExample = "HELLO"; if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) { console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case"); }

this is what I wrote on the challenge, but it doesn't work :(

Equality.java
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";

if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) {
console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case");
}

// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. String firstExample = "hello"; String secondExample = "hello"; String thirdExample = "HELLO";

if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(secondExample)) { console.printf("first is equal to second"); } if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase(thirdExample)) { console.printf("first and third are the same ignoring case"); }

You removed your previous if..?

The code you've written works, but did you remember that keep the if-clause from task 1? You're not supposed to alter the old if-clause, but add another!
