Could someone help me with the next step of this challenge?

Have I used 'case' correctly with the keys from the dictionary? What is my next step to completing this challenge and why?

switch.swift
var europeanCapitals: [String] = []
var asianCapitals: [String] = []
var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [
    "BEL": "Brussels",
    "LIE": "Vaduz",
    "BGR": "Sofia",
    "USA": "Washington D.C.",
    "MEX": "Mexico City",
    "BRA": "Brasilia",
    "IND": "New Delhi",
    "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world {
    // Enter your code below
    switch world {
        case "BEL", "LIE", "BGR": europeanCapitals.append(<#T##newElement: String##String#>)
        case "VNM", "IND": asianCapitals
    default: otherCapitals.append(<#T##newElement: String##String#>)
    }
    // End code
}

var europeanCapitals: [String] = [] var asianCapitals: [String] = [] var otherCapitals: [String] = []

let world = [ "BEL": "Brussels", "LIE": "Vaduz", "BGR": "Sofia", "USA": "Washington D.C.", "MEX": "Mexico City", "BRA": "Brasilia", "IND": "New Delhi", "VNM": "Hanoi"]

for (key, value) in world { // Enter your code below switch key { case "BEL", "LIE", "BGR": europeanCapitals.append(value) case "IND", "VNM": asianCapitals.append(value) default: otherCapitals.append(value) } // End code }

Matt, try something along these lines instead:

for (key, value) in world {
    // Enter your code below
    switch key {
    case "BEL","LIE","BGR": europeanCapitals += [value]
    case "IND", "VNM": asianCapitals.append(value)
    default: otherCapitals.append(value)
    }
}

Note that the editor will take either += or append.
