JavaScript JavaScript Arrays Store Multiple Values in an Array Remove Elements From an Array

Could someone please explain how to solve this please?

let shipping;
orderQueue.shift();
orderQueue.unshift(shipping);

Hi Stephen!

In this challenge, you can declare the variable and assign it in one line.

This passed both tasks:

const orderQueue = ['1XT567437','1U7857317','1I9222528'];

let shipping = orderQueue.shift(); // Task 1

let cancelled = orderQueue.pop(); // Task 2

Keep in mind:

.shift() REMOVES an item from the BEGINNING of an array

.unshift('item') ADDS ''item" to the BEGINNING of an array (becomes the first element)

.pop() REMOVES an item from the END of an array

.push('item') ADD "item" to the END of an array (becomes the last element)
