Create a new variable named contacts that is an re.search() where the pattern catches the email address and phone number

It always shows :

I think this is the regex you're looking for:

(?P<email>[-\w\d+.]+@[-\w\d.]+),\s(?P<phone>\d{3}-\d{3}-\d{4})

You just needed to add the hyphens in between the numbers :-)

Smith Thapa - There isn't. I've amended my code. I just copied your regex und fiddled with it until it worked. I didn't notice ^.*
