create a variable named name with your name in it

im stuck on this python callenge and it says creat a variable named name with your name in it and idk what its asking

name.py
name = input ("josh")

since you are explicitly creating a variable with its own data, you don't need to 'input' anything. Input is used for asking the user what you want to store in the variable.

name = input("what is your name? ")

Skip the middle man, do it direct.
