Cross browser support tutorial

Hey,

This is a request for a course on cross browser support. I feel fairly confident in building a website in modern browsers but when it comes to older ones I'd really like to learn about best practices etc.

What's a typical workflow to accommodate older browsers, how old should you go? and other questions like that. A course on this would be awesome.

If anyone knows of any good resources on this, I would greatly appreciate a point in the right direction.

Thanks

How old you should go depends on who will be using your site. A lot of people only support IE8+ as standard, but if you have a lot of users still using IE6 its a good idea to support it.

Can I use is good for seeing what versions of browsers support certain features.

Also check out Modernizr and the Cross Browser Polyfills github page

You should send an email to support with your suggestion. See this page under 'How do I recommend new content/new suggestions?'

Hope this helps :)
