2,539 PointsCrystal Ball App Background Doesn't Show "Touch to Shake"
I deleted the old background files and even emptied the trash and double checked that the correct background images are in the right folder and properly imported and they are, but every time I run the app in the simulator it shows the original background. Any ideas?

2,539 PointsHA! I figured it out. Somehow, the iOS simulator had created a few different versions of the app that it kept sneakily trying to run every time I hit run in xcode, as opposed to recompiling and creating a new app. And they weren't restored each time I reset the simulator either. After I wiped those out it worked like a charm.

2,539 PointsYeah, I was surprised. At first I figured that somehow it was retaining the old backgrounds, but after I opened and ran the team treehouse version and saw it was still doing the exact same thing I realized that it wasn't actually recompiling. I then tried resetting the simulator to no avail. I finally went poking around in the simulator's hidden folder and found all the old APKs. It hadn't been deleting them. After I erased them, it was willing to recompile and I haven't had a problem since! OT you have a pretty sick name. Any relation to Guy?
