I am impressed with CSS animations. Does anyone think CSS could ever replace much of Javascript's function?

9,767 PointsHopefully. The less files and languages and code that has to be written the better. Only for styling and animating though. Javascript serves a vital and unrivalled use for functionality. Something such as a clock, only Javascript can do this. Javascript has the ability to process data, take in 2 + 2 and give us 4. CSS can't do this and never will.
