CSS Color window is missing on my workspace

I am in the first CSS section where Nick shows that if you scroll over a hexadecimal color property, a small window appears showing what color the hex represents. I don't have one on my workspace. Did treehouse remove that feature, or is something wrong with my workspace?

Side note, I switched to Chrome instead of Firefox shortly after starting all my code stuff because of random things like this. I've not had any troubles while working in Chrome.

Food for thought.

Good luck!

I am able to use it on mine.
Have you finished the line of code? What browser are you using?

i'm using the most up-to-date Firefox, I don't understand your question about code. I'm using css to dress up the homepage. code or no code, I don't have the window, never have. only been here short while so i don't know any changes or problems.

apparently l need to let support know of the issue.

Hey Steven, first of all, you should double-check that you have completed the declaration with your hex value. Secondly, make sure your Workspace is active... not frozen due to performance issues. Thirdly, make sure your computer and mouse are working well, no freezing. Lastly, just hover over your hex value and you must see the color.

For instance: color: #029322;

yes, i know how to code css to make the 256 colors. that's not the issue. my workspace is active. my computer & rollerball are in good shape.

I truly wish the program would follow what you insist on... "you must see the color." nope, still doesn't work..

thanks for the help

Apparently this is a bug in the program & support is looking into the matter. Too bad no one was able to help, but thanks anyway! You at least gave it a shot.

Hi stevencooper,

It looks like Chrome and Safari are currently the only browsers that support this feature. :)
