Hey Wes. I have to disagree; would be a nice 'addition' to the series, but Bootstrap is not the be-all framework (if you choose to use one) IMO :-)

I have never heard it mentioned on Hacker News at all or heard of anybody using it. Bootstrap basically replaced it and the last significant mention of it on Hacker News was three years ago.

It's true that there have not been any further updates to the last stable release of Blueprint [https://github.com/joshuaclayton/blueprint-css] compared to the currently popular Bootstrap [https://github.com/twitter/bootstrap/], but what is really important is, that these are just meant as a starting point or for prototyping; not to replace proper coding of CSS websites.

If anyone is interested some recent, further reading can be found at:

:-)

Still it is out of use and out of date by two years, so why even have it? Oh and when you start to prototype it is easier to use things others use so you can look up prexisting code if need be.

I believe it's in the Archive section, so Treehouse are probably aware of the relevance of the content :-)

Nope it is the web designer learning adventure.

Hi Wesley,

I agree with you that Blueprint is becoming increasingly dated. It's important to learn how to use CSS frameworks, which is why we have it listed in our "Become a Web Designer" Learning Adventure. We're working to update this with our second edition of CSS Foundations along with a few other upcoming Projects and Deep Dives in 2013.

I'm really sorry for the delay on this! It's just as frustrating for you as it is for me, if not more so. There's a lot of subjects and a lot of skill levels that we're trying to hit, so we can only tackle so many things at once. I appreciate your patience with us though. 2013 is going to be an amazing year for new Treehouse content! :)

Yes that is the one I am referring to. I noticed a newer one though but I would rather not dive into it until it is complete. Plus I just skipped over it anyways. I just wanted to make sure no one goes out into the real world suggesting using outdated tech that kills careers and job interviews.Thank you Nick for your efforts.
