"flex" is a display property value, but "fixed" is a position property value.
They are two different properties, so sure, you can use both at the same time.
I wonder why someone thought not.

6,041 Pointsso I would put display: flex; position: fixed; ????
Steven Parker
243,318 PointsExactly. That gives you a flex container which (along with its child flex items) is fixed on the screen.
