Custom CSS is not overriding bootstrap styles

My custom.css file is not overriding the bootstrap styles. I have also used !import in my custom.css but nothing happens. Please help!

Just a cheeky typo that's stopping it from working on line 19

<link rel"sylesheet" href="css/custom.css">

/* should be */

<link rel"stylesheet" href="css/custom.css">

Hopefully that'll sort it :)
