Python Introducing Lists Using Lists Continental

Cycling through a list starting with 'A'

Going back through the videos i did not see the code that allows us to pull out words that start with a specific letter. I tried several different things from research I did online and can't find the correct code that the program is asking for.

continents.py
continents = [
    'Asia',
    'South America',
    'North America',
    'Africa',
    'Europe',
    'Antarctica',
    'Australia',
]
# Your code here
for continent in continents:
    print("*", continent)
for a in continents:
    if a.startswith('A'):
        print(a)

you don't need the second for loop. In the first for loop check if continent starts with an 'a'; if it does print it, otherwise do nothing.

You should only be outputting one list of continents in the second step of challenge.
