1,061 PointsDeclare a String variable named bestSport and initialize it to the first element of the sports array.
String[] sports = { "Basketball", "Baseball", "Tennis" }; String bestSport = sports[0]; int numberOfSports; numberOfSports = sports.length; String lastSport;
lastSport = sports[3];
What do you mean by initialize ? set value to ??? I did that and nothing appear on the error tab... strange... :/

You're off by 1 on your index. Since the index is zero-based the 3rd (last) element would be at index 2.
Also, you can declare and initialize your variables in the same statement for tasks 2 and 3 to cut down on your number of statements. Similar to how you did for task 1.
String[] sports = { "Basketball", "Baseball", "Tennis" };
String bestSport = sports[0];
int numberOfSports = sports.length;
String lastSport = sports[2];

Courses Plus Student 94,610 PointsYou're welcome. I think everybody probably has an off by 1 index error at least once while programming.
