iOS Objective-C Basics (Retired) Foundation Framework NSString

Declare a third NSString variable named 'favorite' and assign a concatenated string to it by appending the variable named 'color' to the variable named 'preference'. (Remember to use the method 'stringByAppendingString').

NSString * favorite = [color stringByAppendingString preference];

it's giving me the wrong, please let me know what was the wrong in my code

You are almost right. In the last line you got it backwards

NSString *favorite = [preference stringByAppendingString:color];

NSString * favorite = [color stringByAppendingString preference];

You are missing a colon between stringByAppendingString and preference.

NSString *favorite = [color stringByAppendingString:preference];
