Default implementation of requirements in Swift protocols?

There is a true false question on a quiz "You cannot provide a default implementation for any requirements specified in a protocol" The correct answer is that is false. I don't get it. As I learned from the course is that we can only provide default implementation in protocol's extension but NOT in the protocol itself? So the given statement is correct. What am I missing?
