Development Tools Automating Your Development with webpack Dev Server

Dev Server Does Not Automatically Re-Compile for Changes

When I run the Webpack Dev Server it, it recompiles for changes after making changes to the index.js file, but it does not display those same changes in the Web Console.

Index.js: 

import loadDropDown from "./loadDropDown";

console.info("Hello!");
loadDropDown();

"Hello!" is not displayed in the Console when I inspect. Thoughts?
