C# C# Objects Methods Methods

Did you create a parameter in your method named distanceToFly? Can someone show me how to code the correct method?

If I understood correctly, the return type and the parameter’s type must be the same. Perhaps, statements in the body of the method are completely wrong.

Frog.cs
namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges
{
    class Frog
    {
        public readonly int TongueLength;
        public readonly int DistanceToFLy;

        public Frog(int tongueLength, int distanceToFly)
        {
            TongueLength = tongueLength;
            DistanceToFly = distanceToFly;
        }

        public bool EatFly(bool distanceToFly)
        {
          bool reachTheFly = tongueLength <= distanceToFly;
          return reachTheFly;
        }
    }
}

namespace Treehouse.CodeChallenges { class Frog { public readonly int TongueLength;

    public Frog(int tongueLength)
    {
        TongueLength = tongueLength;
    }

  public bool EatFly(int distanceToFly)
    {
     bool check;

     if(distanceToFly < TongueLength)
     {
             check = true;
     }
      else
      {
            check = false;
      }
            return check;
    }
}

}

It works. Thank you Russell. :)

Chloe,

public bool EatFly(int distanceToFly)
{
    bool eat = distanceToFly < TongueLength;
    return eat;
}

Thank you Ina.
