C# C# Objects Inheritance Throwing Exceptions

Did you throw an exception when the value is less than 0 or greater than 20? code seems valid

I wrote this using the following code: int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

try { if (value < 0 || value > 20) { throw new System.Exception(); } else { Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value)); } } catch(Exception) { Console.WriteLine("That value is outside the allowable range"); }

When run outside with valid tests the code works properly, but I still cannot submit the answer as solved. am I missing something?

Program.cs
int value = int.Parse(Console.ReadLine());

try
{
    if (value < 0 || value > 20)
    {
        Console.WriteLine("That value is outside the allowable range");
        throw new System.Exception();
    }
    else
    {
        Console.WriteLine(string.Format("You entered {0}",value));
    }
}
catch(Exception)
{
    Console.WriteLine("That value is outside the allowable range");
}

I ended up figuring it out. I was just supposed to throw the error, I was not supposed to handle the error. No try/catch block was needed
