General Discussion

Dissapointed because of missing settings during playback.

By the default, video playback is in Standard video resolution/quality. But it's hard to see code of lector.

I know there is an 720p version of videos in Download tab, BUT when you run it that way, you will miss video transcript. And we need it as salt, because Kenneth is talking too fast.

So I suggest, to add HD button into playback panel, to switch to better qualitty + CC will be preserved as it is now.

Since it is webvideo or HTML video format, it's compression is good - it has low file size. Everybody can load it on HD !

And you may also add settings into profile settings of every user, to pick which quality version playback on default ! It is not hard to make it. So good, so simple.

Please just to it, really...

I changed this to general discussion to see if others are having the problem outside of the Python course.

I haven't noticed that the videos are low res but I agree that resolution controls and preferences would be a nice addition.

They are low for reading code from lector's screen.

I see your point.

I'm having issues with the Database Foundations course and the Python course. I can't see the code of the lecturer and even when I full screen there is loss of screen real estate with black bars around video so it doesn't really zoom in enough for me to see.

You might try downloading the videos and then play them back full screen with your media player of choice.

The videos are in the downloads section. Try the "High Definition Video MP4 File" and see if that helps.
